I really do feel that I am an incredibly lucky wedding photographer when it comes to my brides and grooms. I've had the blessing of working with such kind hearted, genuine and fun couples since I started my business. And Liset and Joe are no exception.
On the happiest day of their life together, I was experiencing my worst. The day before their wedding I lost my grandmother to pancreatic cancer. It seemed like one moment she was diagnosed, and the next we watched as it swiftly carried her away from us over five months. And then, she was gone.
In a time, place and day that was entirely about the two of them, Liset and Joe continually expressed their outpouring of love, support and understanding. It was a hard and painful weekend, but it was also a beautiful one. To witness life and love. Kindness. Their simple gestures meant so much. And I will always be in awe, and grateful to these two. Their wedding day at the Arizona Biltmore Resort is one I will always remember.
